About the Teacher

Laura is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 1500 hrs) with extensive training and experience in Purna, Hatha, Iyengar, Restorative, Vinyasa, Yin and Aerial yoga, as well as Pranayama (breath work) and Dhyana (meditation).

Her passion is working with the nervous system, balancing rest and activation to build a foundation on which body, breath and mind can evolve together. She builds strength by first calming the mind and establishing physical foundations, creating a smooth, organic journey from simplicity and groundedness to dynamic movement and exertion.

Laura is also a qualified somatic therapist and remedial massage therapist. She loves working with people at every stage, whether they’re new to movement, in rehab or managing an injury. She believes in the deep connection between body and mind, and aims to give her students and clients the skills to carry what they cultivate into daily life, improving their quality of life and long-term health.

The Collective

Q Wellness Collective is a gathering of independent practitioners working across the three quiet seasons of a body's life, prevention, rehabilitation, and restoration.

What we are

A community of independent practitioners working as a collective. We collaborate across disciplines, referring between us, consulting on shared cases, and shaping one another's thinking through ongoing exchange. No single discipline answers every need; together, we hold the whole. What we hold in common is a passion for helping people and a mastery of our individual disciplines, earned through years of training, refined through years of practice, and offered with the unhurried care each body deserves.

What we offer

Private and small‑group sessions in Functional Pilates, yoga, meditation, post‑surgical rehabilitation, balance, and breathwork, and we are always looking to welcome new disciplines that fit within our ethics. Clients move between us as the work demands: from prevention into rehabilitation, from rehabilitation into the longer restoration.

Our Philosophy

i.
Prevention
The least visible of our work, building core, muscle and bone strength, and training balance and posture, before the body is ever forced to ask for help.
ii.
Rehabilitation
The careful, structured work of returning a body to function after injury, surgery, illness, or long compensation.
iii.
Restoration
After rehabilitation, restoring your body and your confidence. Setting your goals for an active and independent life.
