Over 50 years in Tai Chi and Wushu, trained at the Beijing Sport University and recognised as an International Grade A Wushu/Tai Chi Judge — bringing depth of tradition to a slow, restorative practice.

A rare depth of training brought to a gentle, restorative practice — Tai Chi taught by someone who has spent a lifetime in it.
Master Han Jin Song began training in Wushu — the Chinese martial arts tradition that includes Tai Chi — over 50 years ago, training for nearly a decade before entering what is now the Beijing Sport University, where he majored in Wushu and Tai Chi. He went on to teach there, coaching students who went on to win gold medals in national and international championships.
He later served as Head Coach of the Australian National Wushu/Tai Chi Team for over a decade, and is one of only two Wushu/Tai Chi practitioners in Australia to hold an 8th Duan ranking from the Chinese Wushu Association. He is a disciple of Grand Master Chen Xiaowang, the 19th-generation keeper of Chen-style Tai Chi.
At Q Wellness Collective, that depth of tradition is brought to a slow, accessible weekly class — movement, breath and balance suited to bodies of any age or ability.
Tai Chi is a slow, low-impact practice of continuous, flowing movement, coordinated with breath and attention. It builds balance, joint mobility, and body awareness — without strain on the joints.
Widely used for fall prevention and stress reduction, it suits people at any stage of life, and requires no prior experience or equipment.
Q Wellness Collective is a gathering of independent practitioners working across the three quiet seasons of a body's life — prevention, rehabilitation, and restoration.
A community of independent practitioners working as a collective. We collaborate across disciplines — consulting on shared cases, and shaping one another's thinking. No single discipline answers every need; together, we hold the whole person. What we hold in common is a passion for helping people and a mastery of our individual disciplines — earned through years of training, refined through years of practice, and offered with the unhurried care each body deserves.
Private and small‑group sessions in Functional Pilates, Tai Chi, yoga, balance, breathwork, osteopathy and Chinese medicine — and we are always looking to welcome new disciplines that fit within our ethics. Clients move between us as the work demands: from prevention into rehabilitation, from rehabilitation into the longer restoration.
